Ahmed Nemr
Manager
Ahmed joined the OFCO in December 2017. He leads one of the Intake and Training Units. Ahmed joined CDSS in 2015, worked with multiple branches within the Division of Children and Family Services. Ahmed has wide variety of experiences in multiple field including but not limited to group homes, non-public school serving foster youth, mental health settings, and worked also as a teacher with Clovis Unified School District in addition to over eight years of management experiences in government and private sectors. Ahmed has a bachelor degree in Social Work. Ahmed enjoys family outings, reading, playing tennis and having casual discussion about current national and international affairs.
The California Office of the Foster Care Ombudsperson is dedicated to serving
foster youth in California by investigating and resolving complaints
about foster youth rights, care, placement, and services.
