Kendra Jackson

Analyst

Kendra is Analyst within the Office of the California Foster Care Ombudsperson on the Intake and Training Team. Prior to joining the Ombudsperson’s office, Kendra worked as the Administrative Coordinator for the nonprofit organization Foster Youth Education Fund. Kendra previously worked at the Guardian Scholars Program at California State University, Sacramento where her work focused on helping former foster youth in reaching their academic goals and ensuring success in college and obtaining life skills. Kendra received her B.A in Social Work from California State University, Sacramento where she is currently attending and will receive her M. A in Sociology in Spring of 2021. Kendra’s personal experiences in foster care when she was a child and her interest in social justice and desire to be a part of the change is what inspired her to become a part of the amazing work done by this office.
